What the Bridge actually is
The Medicare GLP-1 Bridge is a temporary federal demonstration, not a new Part D benefit. It runs from July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027. Three drugs are included: Wegovy, Zepbound KwikPen, and Foundayo. Your Part D plan does not have to opt in for you to use it. You need to be 18 or older and have Medicare drug coverage.
What waiting can cost
